PicoScope's Parking Sensor and Keyless Entry Detector are inexpensive sensors that can quickly diagnose faults in these systems.
Ultrasonic Parking Sensor Detector
This 2-meter long lead with a detector is intended to allow a technician to prove the correct operation of each of the ultrasonic parking sensors in turn. By directly showing the strength of the signal from a given sensor, it can also be used to identify problems with the masking of sensors due to the fitment of aftermarket accessories such as tow bars or lights.

Keyless Entry Carrier Signal Detector
The PICO-TA330 is a 3-meter long lead and detector intended to allow a technician to detect the presence of the keyless entry carrier frequency in the range 125-140 kHz (as used by most manufacturers). The device has a short range by design, allowing the technician to check each pickup coil in turn and hence identify a faulty unit. The detector does not pick up or decode the high-frequency secure information used to unlock the vehicle.
