Breakout Connector Leads and Kits
Breakout connector leads provide quick, easy access to sensor signals and actuator voltages and currents. Simply connect the breakout lead into the existing cable loom, and then take the output signal from the 4 mm banana plugs into the automotive oscilloscope via one of the PicoBNC+â„¢ Test Leads. Our breakout leads also give you access to individual wires to allow probing with a current clamp.

Please note that it may be possible to cause a short circuit to the oscilloscope if incorrect connections are made. Check your connections carefully or damage might result which will require repairs to be made at your own cost.
Always refer to wiring diagrams to identify signals. To help you to identify signals, our breakout leads are now generally manufactured using the colours in the table on the left, regardless of the number of connections.
Please Note Some of the images of the breakout leads on this page show incorrect colours (e.g. black and red instead of green and red). These are the old versions of the leads and the images will be updated shortly.
