4225A 2-Channel & 4425A 4-Channel Starter & Diagnostic Kits
The PicoScope Starter Kits and the Diagnostic Kits are available in 2 and 4-Channel versions and have everything you need to start your diagnostic journey. You can add to your Kits to increase functionality as needed.
Garage Lube Diagnostic Kits with PicoBNC+
Garage Lube has created two Kits, the 2 and 4-Channel PicoScope Diagnostic Kits. These Kits have all the components included in the Starter Kits (listed below) as well as:

A few test examples are shown below. However, adding these three items allows you to perform many more tests than are possible with the Starter Kits.
Starter Kits with PicoBNC+
The entry-level, 2 and 4-Channel PicoScope Starter Kits have the essentials to allow you to perform a number of tests. You can expand your Kit as necessary thereby increasing the number of tests you can perform by purchasing extra accessories.
Diagnostic Software
Along with the 2 and 4-Channel PicoScope, you also receive our award winning PicoDiagnostics software. It includes a Battery Test which tests the starting and charging system on the vehicle. This is used to test batteries and charging systems by both vehicle manufacturers and independent workshops.
Current Clamp
When you add the 2000A Current Clamp, you have everything you need to run the Vehicle Battery, Starter Motor, Alternator and Regulator Test and you can monitor the starter current on both petrol and diesel vehicles.
We recommend adding the PICO-TA499 10:1 Scope Probe and Adaptor to your PicoScope Starter Kit. The old 4x25 starter kits used to have an attenuator but the attenuator does not work well with the newer 4x25A scopes. Primary ignition produces spikes of about 400V. That is considerably more than the maximum voltage of 200V that the inputs can take. The probe allows you to test primary ignition and protects the scope like the old attenuator used to. (Also included in the Diagnostic Kit, below)
